Just curious. I've heard grado stock cables are pretty decent as well as the Denon D5000 and Sennheiser HD650.

The Wide format Low Capacitance PC-OCC Stax cable (used on the SR-404, 4070 and SR-007MKII) is an excellent headphone cable.
Flexible, durable, low profile, and makes the 'phone sing.

I like the look, feel and sound of the rugged Grado cable, but they drop the ball somewhere around the Y connector. Brand new they already look like my dog got to it.

For durability I've been very impressed with the cord on my RP-21s. I've beat the hell out of it - shut in cabinet doors, run over with a wheely chair, etc - and it's got nary a blemish on it, let alone some kind of change in functionality.

What about Beyers DT880? I never peeked inside the cable on one, but based on what I've heard they benefit from recabling the least because the stock cable is already very decent.
