For those of us who have multiple headphones, Out of your collection, If you could only keep one headphone, which one would you keep and why would you choose it over the others in your collection? Lets hope none of us are ever forced into this kind of situation, lol.

I would keep the SR-007.
Because they are clearly the best sounding pair of those I have.

Surprising even myself, I have come to strongly prefer the K701 over either the Ultrasone Proline 2500 or 750. The AKG are a much more neutral, balanced and "complete" sounding headphone than the other two, IMHO. After about 350-400 hours of break-in, the K701 come to stand just the right ground between being "in-your-face" and "at a respectful distance," offering an ease, delicacy and grace that coexists alongside brilliantly colored and intimately textured tonality, full-bodied and well-proportioned dynamics, and--yes, believe it or not!--substantial, deep and extremely articulate bass.

BTW, I just re-enlisted the DT880, only this time around the 2005 version (I previously owned and really enjoyed the 2003 model). Of all the headphones I've heard to date, only the DT880 could possibly unseat the K701, but given my historical, migratory headphone path up to this point, I am guessing that the DT880/2005 will occupy a close second to the victorious K701 (soon to be re-cabled w/the RAL Cryo-Silver Reference).

Dífficult...guess I would keep the MS2 due to its passable portability and "high res" abilities at the home system. But I'd miss the softness and soundscape of the DT880 badly.

It'd be the TakeT H2. However if the rest of my system were up to spec, I suspect it might end up being the O2. Only time will tell.

HD600. I find I use it about 65% of the time, so the numbers don't lie.

....I WOULD miss my Alessandros though.....quite badly.

Hmmm, at the moment I think I would keep my K-501.

As an aside, it was quite a revelation running it through my newly arrived Graham Slee Solo. I think I like it more than my HD-650, but I'm still not sure if that's because it's what I've been used to for so long. I'll wait until my K-701 and Rega Planet 2000 arrive to do a proper comparison! I think my source is definately the weak link at the moment.

As another aside, I've heard that the synergy between the Little Dot II+ and K-501 is very good, and don't get me wrong, it sounds great, but if you own a K-501 and are powering it with a LDII+, please buy a GS Monitor ASAP!

I think I would keep my Triple.fi earphones, they get the most use out of all my headphones, and even though they are earphones, they blow me away the most. Its simply astounding to look at how far earphones have come as far as sound when compared to full size headphones.
