Between these three, as far as sound quality goes, which ones would be the best? I'm looking for something in the price range of these... Basically ones that aren't custom molded.. Where I don't have to spend over $500..

I've narrowed it down to these...

Sennheiser IE 8, Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10, and the Shure SE530

there is no best. it's all about sound signature preference. you should read some reviews on the three and then see which ones sounds like they would suit you and whatever music you listen to.

You need to determine what exactly you are looking for in order to make an educated decision and for people here to help you. If you love bass, go for the IE8. If you love mids, go for the SE530.
For around $500 though, you could get customs like the UE4 and the JH equivalent.

Having owned the UE10s and still own the IE8s, W3, SE530s, I would say IE8s/W3 tie for first, SE530s second and UE10s closely third.

Ortofon e-Q7, period.

I picked the TF10 because it best suits my tastes. Every other good universal I've heard is stronger in something, but it's something I don't find critically important.

You need to find the phones that are strong in those traits that you find important.

^^Agreed. TP's sound amazing IMO. I just got them a week ago and listen to them for hours every day; I just can't keep them out of my ears.

But yea it depends on what you're looking to get out of your setup.

If there was one non custom IEM out right now that intrigues me most it is the E-Q7, followed second by the CK10.

+2! I was just deciding between the Shure SE530s (I had an SE210 that broke and I know I like Shure's sound) and the customs and just sent in my ear molds for the JH5s. The UE4s could be considered too.

You realize that there was just a $99 sale on the triple fi, right? A whole bunch of people who don't have any other experience with high end IEMs are going to vote for the one they have instead of the one that sounds the best.

Not saying The TF10 is going to win, but the vote is going to be screwy.

There going for under $200 directly from amazon right now. Which is still the lowest anywhere.

If you consider as price/performance then triple fi might be at the top but you can't really say which one is the best because they have very different sound signatures but I can say ie8's are the best
