I am new to this so I want some recommandation.

I'd read that the MX400 is good, but I can't find them in my local store.

So, can you list some ear buds that I should buy, and I am not ready to jump into the ER4 or 6 yet.

Thanks

MX400/500 can be had anywhere on the net. HeadRoom's got'em, with 30 day return.

I'm not surprised you don't see them in a store, I went into a local Wiz and all they had was junk.

Is there a difference between the two?

AFAIK the only difference is the 500 has an in-line volume control. I'm sorry I can't give you any bud recommendations, they do not work for me...

There are the awia v100 at audiocubs.com but the koss-35 are really great and not a whole lot bigger but sound a whole lot bigger. The koss-35 can be had at headroom or at koss.com

I dont think koss sells them anymore at their site because of their discontinued status...
