I'll first start off by saying that I have both of these earphones. My phone malfunctioned recently and I got it replaced with a newer model by Asurion since they don't carry the model of my own phone anymore (had the thunderbolt, so they replaced it with the rezound). To my enjoyment, my replacement phone came with a free pair of earphones. The (commonly bashed) ibeats by dr. dre, which comes in the box with the rezound. Now, I also got a pair of earphones as a gift from my aunt (since she knows I love music), the scosche in ear, model IDR657mbk. Around $60 for a 2 pack of them. One usually sells for around $30-$40 online, depending on the store. She gave the other one to my brother. Now my question is, which of these do you prefer? Going off value, the ibeats single pair alone is around $100 dollar value. But the scosche came with a lot of accessories with it. Much more than any other $30 (OR $60 for that matter) usually comes with. The ibeats just came with a shirt clip, 4 different pairs of earbuds, and a carrying case. While the scosche comes with 6 different pairs of earbuds (3 single and 3 dual flanged silicone), a 1/4" input adapter, an input/output adapter (for skype and such), and sport earclips. In terms of sound quality, it sounds like the ibeats give off more bass, but the scosche sounds a bit more clearer. But I'm not THAT much of an audiophile, so I wouldn't know exactly what to look for/ would be able to accurately tell the difference in sound quality. That's why I'm turning to you guys. Both earphones work with the beats audio tech in my phone, so that is not a problem. The scosche, however, also has an android app that lets me mess with the low, mid. and high frequencies of songs that allegedly works specifically with scosche. So in conclusion, in terms of value, it would seem that the ibeats got the scosche beat (pun intended), with a $100 earphones as opposed to a $30 earphone. But in terms of what you get with it, the scosche has a greater amount of stuff. But based on the earphones themselves (or your experience with the companies), which one do you think I should mainly use? P.S. Has to be between these 2, currently don't have enough money for a really good pair of earphones and/or headphones.
