Which do you all recommend?

Sounds good. To the OP, the D2 is a great player but sounds very different from the Fuze. I think if you're looking for the most space out of a flash player, the D2 is probably the best option. I'm only considering selling mine because I got the X which is quite expensive, but if I don't sell my D2 I will just return the X.

Also, Fuze/D2 have different sound signatures, but I think the D2 is a great player for both music and video so I have some bias toward that if you plan on watching any videos.

I picked up a view 9 months ago, didn't like it and it doesn't support flac Returned it and grabbed the fuze instead - much better sounding player, and flac support.

All I really need is a music player. I tried the Clip for a couple days and didn't like it all, I much preferred the Fuze's SQ and the D2's. I will have to sample the View to see what I think. If the AMP3 could support 16GB Micro SDHC cards, I would get that, but as of yet no one has been able to get one to work with them.

And I would also prefer a smaller player to as it would be in my pocket a lot. That's another turn off with the S9 and View, not sure how the P3 is though.

The Fuze has the same audio quality as the clip..

Yeah the Clip and Fuze both use like the same chip or something and are SUPPOSED to be identical in terms of SQ. All I have is a clip, but it's not mine - just in the house. Maybe it depends on what iteration of the Fuze it is, but I think a lot of people are adamant they are the same SQ wise.

Huh, that's weird, 'cause the Clip I had for a few days sounded real tinny and lifeless and the Fuze I listened to sounded much more full, warm and alive. And I listened to both straight through my SA6's.

Well just got back from Best Buy and the Fuze is V02.01, someone had it one Pop EQ and I switched it to normal and I still preferred it to the Clip I had. There was no longer a View on display so I couldn't check that out. But I did give this Sony a listen Sony - Walkman 8GB* Video MP3 Player - Black - NWZE438FBLK I really like the SQ on it, but it doesn't have expandable memory. So I'm going to decide between the Fuze and another Cowon probably.
