Which DAP to pair with UM Merlin?

Hi, i recently bought a merlin and was using my lg g3 as a source, and in some quieter songs i can hear a background noise and it's really letting me down. I did some searching and found out that the merlin needs a source with a low impendance output.
 
i'm thinking of getting the cowon plenue d,  anyone have a better suggestion? 
 
300$ budget.
