Please name the DAP manufacturer (Sony, Apple, Cowon, Sansa, FiiO, etc.) that offers the best SQ (in your opinion) in the following price brackets.

I guess to cut to the chase, I am looking to upgrade from my old Sansa to either a Sony E354 ($70) or a Cowon iAudio9 ($120). How do they compare in terms of SQ?

My Sony hasn't arrived in the mail yet.....once it does, I will be comparing it to my other players, which include a Cowon.

you cannot compare Brand vs brand, because a different model DAP from a same brand can sounds different, i had Sony X1000 and it sounds far better than B/B0/A/S/E series , and i am sure each model/generation (even though they are from the same series) also sounds different,
so please compare them with more specific detail

I thought the Sony X series and the A series sound equal...
