Hi people

I may be getting a pair of headphones august as my father is going to the USA
please help me with the choice!
I hear mainly guitar based music, with solos. from rock to heavy/thrash metal including music like paul gilbert, steve vai, joe satriani, petrucci, etc...
I will use them MOSTLY at my bedroom so i dont really care too much for isolation, but anyway, I prefer the listening to music isolated, with no exterior sound comin in.
My budget is from 100 to 150.

From what I have searched I found the ATH M50, the Shure SRH840 and the Senns HD595.

well, thats it

answer please!!

thanks

No isolation and rock... get Grados. SR80 or SR125 I think are in the price range. I have SR80i and although I hate their build quality they actually sound great and they havent broken yet (I think the fact that they look like they will bothers me the most).

I have the DT770/80s when I am listening to this kind of music (and I am too lazy to stand up to pick another pair)..and I have also looked around at the time of my decision and the ATH M50 would also be good, plus you can use them without an amp properly..

Also (sorry for the ignorance hehe), can i plug these cans (m50, sr125i) to my guitar amp?
Not asking about the connector, I thinks it comes with an adapter! I'm asking about any other problem I may not be aware of.
Thanks!
