Actually I was just defending the Chinese worker with that comment. Like anywhere else in the world; they can and do make excellent products, but are quite often dismissed as producing inferior merchandise, especially if a sweatshop environment is inferred.

...which of course is true no matter the location.

"unreasonable profits" may be subjective, but I do not see where it has much to do with theology



These days it is increasingly difficult to buy much of anything not made (at least partially) in China.
Particularly since this information is not always indicated on the label or packaging.

I think you have to narrow it down model by model. I wouldn't be surprised if they ALL have a model or 2 made in China by some bulk fab-house.

I think most of the higher end models are not made in China.

Shure lower end IEMs are all currently made in China & this applies to many other brands.

Basically, we are talking about cost & competitness in the current market now.

Price should indicate where it's made in but not for some.

shure moved its manufacturer plants to china since early 2006. shure e3c, e4c, e5c are now made in china. you would prob. not be able to find an E5c made in Mexico or USA.
