Hi there,

I have got a simple problem, a combination problem exactly.
I would like to build the optim config.

I have these 5 power cords :
- Analog Research Silver Raincoat
- Analog Research Silver Raincoat Reference
- Analysis Plus Oval 10
- Siltech SPX-20
- Xindak FP-1

And i want to pair each of these cables with one of those 4 units below :
- Cayin A-88T
- DAC 3DLab SRC 500
- Esound CD-E5
- Electrocompaniet EC-1

I've spent too much time trying to detect the differences and i feel like "deaf", I need to have my ears rest for a while, i give up for a moment

According to your experience and impressions, what would be the best association ?

And how would you "rank" these cables ?

Thanks a lot !

I would say try all the cables on the equipment and see wich one sounds best on wich piece of equipment. I would say that the amp and the cdplayer/dac would need the best cables.

i don't know much about power cables, but that is my two cents

Often amps sound better without filtering though! You have to experiment what sounds best.
