Many SS amps can use opamp rolling and hence are able to use OPA627, such as M3, PPA, etc...

I would personally choose an amp which allows op-amp rolling AND doesn't use the BUF634 as output buffer. I think these ruin the natural colourfulness of sound and dull the timbre quite a bit, as compared both to the unbuffered op-amp, and to the Intersil HA-5002 buffer.

P.S. I like the Maxi Head Signature.

There are commercial amps that you can use the OPA627 in. If you like Ray Samuels' build quality, the XP-7 and HR-2 can accept the OPA627. Or you could get a DIY-type amp like the M3 or PPA with a fancy case.

You can also try Xin's offerings if you are still lookig at portables.

Well, RSA XP-7 will give you a pretty case, although I'd prefer the M^3. Maybe someone can come up with an attractive enough case for it. I haven't looked into it as I don't worry so much about cases, so I don't know for sure.

As far as the Maxi Head is concerned, please read this thread before you decide to purchase from Drew Dunn: http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=91119

You don't have to get the Max amp itself. All you need is the Max amp module, which can be fitted into the Desktop, Home, or Max amps. So the cheapest would be the Desktop amp with Max amp module.
