Which 595 do I have?

Hi everyone,

I don't have the box my Senn 595 came in, so is there any way to tell which version, 50 ohm or not, I have?

should be a sticker on the 50ohm version of sennheisers boxes

or take out your multimeter and check the impedance from the plug.

release date of 595 and country of origin will dictate, unless, of course, you have this mysterious multimeter

Mine have the sticker that say Made in China, but no sticker over the 120 Ohm. Guess I need a multimeter dealie. Can you get these at Rat Shack?

You can definetly get them from RatShack. Although get the ones that can calculate Ohm (that horseshoe sign with 2 feets.).

no sticker usually means they are 120
mine had a sticker and was measured at 50
