I bought mine from mrtibbs@att.net. They shipped yesterday

$20 plus shipping, brand new but in "somewhat tatty packaging." I should get them in the next day or two and will post again...

I had a quite unpleasant experience with mrtibbs

Here is an excerpt from his reply, two weeks ago, to my inquiry if he still has KSC-35s for sale:

">Yes, I have a pair left. They're brand new and never used or touched,
>but the packaging (the disposable cardboard/plastic packing that's
>thrown away the day you get them) is a little tatty."

I wrote him immediately that I would buy them and asked him for payment instructions, but he never replied.

I thought he might be offline or something, but now I see he sold you the same "a little tatty" pair... good for you

It seems he didn't like me for some reason.

Thank you very much, mrtibbs.

Actually, I've bought 7 pairs from him for family and friends, and the packaging is always "ratty tatty".

I had emailed him a couple of weeks ago when there were a few guys looking for them and they weren't getting any replies from him. He never replied to me either...

Got a pair of them off him - top class service. Mine had a (minor) fault and he sent me a new pair no problem - and that's to England.

Top class bloke and well worth dealing with. Bear in mind he's a one-man operator and possibly he hasn't answered due to other issues, family problems, IRS investigations, abducted by aliens, accidental time travel, public transportation issues, ISP downage, asteroid impact, sudden dyslexia, flu, intestinal difficulties, work-related hassle, home-related hassle, sexy laptop dancer related hassle, computer hassle, loss of a valuable contact lens, intense gamma radiation burst resulting in drastic changes in body chemisty whenever he gets angry or outraged, car problems, motor cycle problems, hoverboard problems, spots, bad breath, acne, sudden desire to dress and act like the Duke of Wellington, presential executive order, female Koss junkies wanting his love child, airbourne diseases, chillblains, fear of open spaces, fear of closed spaces, fear of people called Brian, sudden and unexpected arrest, imprisonment, babysitting duties, problems with his Mr Fusion, no clean clothes, sudden loss of identity (see Duke of Wellington), sudden discovery that he's related to George Bush, sudden discovery that he's related to a garden bush, lice, dandruff, hangnail .............. God I've got to stop smoking this stuff.

LOL !

I dealt with him a while back and he was on the money. Very reliable and quite a few members bought from him. Wonder what happened...

It took him about a week to reply to my first e-mail. I sent payment, and asked him to tell me when they shipped. I didn't hear from him for 11 days. I e-mailed him, he replied the same day with his apologies. He sent another e-mail yesterday:

"I checked into your order and unfortunately your headphones were not
shipped. I don't know how I made the mistake with this one, but I've
gone through all the shipping receipts and am 99% sure they didn't go
out.

A replacement pair of the Koss were shipped today (dropped in the box
myself) via Priority Mail and I've included a $5 refund for your
shipping delay. I'm just outside of Seattle so it should not take
long at all to reach Portland (2 or 3 days ? ...should be there this week).

Sorry again for the un-needed delay,

Martin"

I don't think it was you personally; you just have to keep e-mailing him. Maybe he's just a little spacey...

If you can't get them anywhere else, this site appears to have the KSC-35s:

http://store.yahoo.com/image-solutio...ksporster.html

Though they are prohibitively expensive ($58.88)

Well, overloaded enough not to give me a short email reply (could have been negative, but at least a reply!). Not overloaded enough to perfect complete deals with bdb55, D-audi etc.... and not overloaded enough to reply to oliverong84 a couple of days ago...

Ummmm... I wouldn't call my transaction "perfect" at all; he's kept me waiting three weeks!
