My situation:
I got my ER-4p's about 5-6 weeks ago. The stock tri-flanges are too big, and the baby blues are too small to get a good seal. Even after reading many threads of how to fit these in your ear and attempting to try to get used to the pain, the flanges are still uncomfortable and take far too long to insert correctly. Foamies give me a good seal, but they are somewhat painful and I don't want to replace these when they go bad. I'm considering getting Westone custom molds made from OtoBlast silicone in matte finish. However, some posters stated that they required multiple impressions in order to get optimal sound and fit, and I don't really have the time and money to mess around with all of that. Do you guys know any audiologists around the Chicago area that can give me impressions without having to worry about if I have to redo them or not?
