That will only work with a fully burnt-in DT150.
Out of the box, and therefore maybe also in a shop, they don't sound that good.
After a 48 hour of break-in, they sound fantastic.

I don't believe I've ever heard a phone go from terrible to fantastic with burn-in (or recabling, mods, etc.). Burn-in doesn't change things remotely that much.

Maybe I'm exaggerating.
But before I got the DT150, I thought the same. Actually I didn't believe in burn- in at all.
But these headphones changed that....
For me, hearing is believing.
Bass became much tighter, mids cleared up etc.

Oh, God, I feel I must give them a try one day. I was about to buy them, but K 501 were much cheaper then and still are worthwhile.... Damn that Head-Fi!

192.00? Aren't these 150.00? Another 200 headphone.. Better isolation then my 48's.. And look more comfy to boot.. ugly.. But it's whats on the inside that counts..1/4 connectors?

Unfortunately, they are not so comfy. The thick earpads are rather stiff.
