I've settled on purchasing a pair of Denon AHD 2000 headphones. Now the next step is an amp/dac to go along with it. My computer already has a Creative Audigy LS soundcard installed. Now, I'm wondering if the line out of the sound card to the LD II would give me a better starting sound that an E-MU 404 which I would connect to the optical out of mobo or usb. I can't purchase both at the same time currently so I'd like to get whatever will get me the farthest the soonest.
