To the OP: I noticed you are in Singapore. I'm not trying to be a smart-@ss, and I don't want to generalize - Singapore is one of my favorite places in the world - but let's face it, it is also culturally very different than the USA in many ways. Do you think the rather unique city-state culture you live in causes you to view these quite lively and sometimes heated discussions in a different way than those actually participating in the debate may view the exchanges? Again, I am in no way trying to make this a discussion of government, etc - just an observation that what may appear to be a shocking display of incivility to you might be viewed as just another day of internet forum fencing - scoring touches and being touched, but no real blood is drawn.

Not a big deal, just sad to read when ppl start to shot each other. or it is just some word fight before beer.
