What are some places in NYC that have a huge assortment of headphones I could try out - I'm upgrading from Shure e5c's and Etymotic ER-4P's to earmuff sound-isolating headphones, I just don't know which ones to get. From the forums, I've gathered these are the best choices:

Sony MDR-V6
Sennheiser HD-25-1
Sennheiser HD-280
Ultrasone HFI 650
Beyerdynamic DT 250-80

JR and BH Photo Video are already on my list, give me more suggestions fellow NYers!

Sound by Singer in Union Square has the entire Grado line (from SR60 to RS1).

J&R Music World by City Hall has Sennheisers and Sonys available to audition on the 2nd floor. Check their website or call to find out what's available. Not the best listening environment but it beats a blank.

Some of the Senn phones are located on a tower in Harvey's midtown location (not sure the specific models on your list).

There are Ultrasone headphones for audition at Sam Ash off of Times Square (again, not sure about the specific models).

A word of advice if you ever feel tempted to try the Bose Triports at J&R. Don't try to adjust the headband or it'll break and whack you on the side of the head and leave you with the right driver housing in your hand.

B&H? Where is that exactly, is that the camera store? I'd like to give some Beyers a listen to, the 880's and the 231's for example.
