Now that I have a region free dvd player, I would like to know where you guys/gals buy your DVD from abroad? I just bought the R2 Zatoichi from Amazon Japan for US$38, probably not the best price. Care to tell me where you buy from?

I get most of my CD's and DVD's from amazon.com not the best of prices but they are the most hassle free internet seller for me.

For Japanese import I like yesasia . Free shipping, and the packing is good. I have had stuff shipped to me damaged by amazon japan.

Btw, what region free player have you got? And where did you get it? I have been looking for a quality region free player.

I got a cheapo CyberHome CH-DVD 300 for CDN$60 including tax at a local WalMart. It's always good to check for hacks ahead of time before you buy. Check here.

So far, I have only tested with a region 3 disc. Still waitng for the R4 City of God I bought from eBay and the R2 Zatoichi.

I have checked yesasia, they have a good selection of asian release but not the european releases. Also check out hkflix if you're looking for asian movies.

cdjapan sells a lot of stuff, but they certainly aren't cheap. also, be quite sure the release you're getting either has an english track or english subtitles, as most of them don't.

amazon.co.uk has lots of stuff. hkflix.com is good for the hong kong scene.

does anybody know a place to order dvds from spain? i've been wanting their release of twin peaks for over a year. season 2 has been cancelled for release in r1. bastards.

Only bought there ones. Fast delevery and worldwide free shipping. They just have populair releases though. I don't know about the US but in comparison to European prices CD WOW Hong Kong is very cheap.

I had the feeling that my DVD didn't come all the way from Hong Kong but probabaly from their UK outlet. It only took 2 days to get to the Netherlands.

Just checked, they've gone up in price
