Where do I find good 3.5 mm jack sockets

There are at least a few good and reasonably priced 3.5 mm jack plugs. But where do I find decent jack sockets? Everything seem to be about good looks, and because the doesn't show, there are no good jack sockets?

Both Neutrik and Switchcraft have multiple good choices. I am using this one in my Pimeta: http://www.neutrik.com/content/produ...=CatMSDE_audio

Edit: Doh, missed that you where looking for a 3.5mm socket. But the manufacturers are still valid. Vixr's choice is also good.

I like the barrel connectors best. Vixr's are great if you want isolated. A non-isolating one that I use a lot is available at many places - this pic is from Parts Express:

tomb is right... You can also remove his from the panel without de-soldering...mine cant.

That looks alot like the Philmore 504K

Yeah, I've bought them at Fry's under the Philmore brand. Philmore packages several very good jacks - their top-of-the-line RCA jacks, #MTG12, I like better than anyone else's at far beyond the Philmore price.

However, I doubt that they make anything on their own - or even have it made exclusively. This 3.5mm barrel jack, in particular, seems ubiquitous under many names and at many places.
