O.K. I admit it. I'm a pop 80's fan. I really like Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians. Not only for Edie's unique vocal rhythm and sound, but also definitely for the actual composition that supported her. I know that the band had the music and had Edie just drop in her lyrics. Since she left and started her awful solo career at the behest of her then new husband Paul Simon, I just wondered where the actual band went. I really like their songs and wanted to know if they recorded any more. I have done a cursory search on the web to no avail. Does anyone have any info for me? Thanks.

They have a website http://www.newbohemians.com/ and it looks like they recorded again with Edie in '99. Brad Houser (bass) and Matt Chamberlain (drums) formed a group in Seattle called Critters Bugin that I used to see a lot when I lived out there. They have a few CDs out so you should check CDNow or Amazon for some listening samples. I like 'Host' a lot. Hope this helps.
