Designed in Germany, made in China which is why the knockoff from there are so real looking.

The HD800 are designed in Germany, made in Germany. I thought all sennheiser products were made in Germany.

I believe they pulled the HD800 back to Germany because of the knock off problems in China. Plus they wanted the "Made in Germany" label on that model due to it's price.

Autually I hear that the IE8 are made in China, but then sent back to Germany for inspection.
