There's a handful of people here who have them but they very rarely seem to appear for sale second hand anywhere.I would have thought with over 1000 having been made since 1989 they would have appeared more often?
I mean with 1000 or so of HP1000 phones they appear relatively often second hand.

It's true. Many more in Asia. Second hand especially.

Well, supposedly being the best, or "holy grail" of all headphones, there really is no place to upgrade too, therefore (IMHO) people keep them!
