I'd love to try all kinds of headphones first before I decided to get one in $150.00 range. Do you guys know any stores in Downtown SF? I'm looking to audition all the brand that's out there, like Grado, AKG, Senn, Sony MDRs, Shure, UE, Alessandro, AudioTechnica, Beyerdynamic, Stax, AudioCubes' headphones(that looks cool) and more. I'm looking for a headphone museum, in a sense.

I tried the search button, but I don't see any recent infos about it.

I'd appreciate any infos.

There's Guitar Centers all over, which claim (website) to stock all kindsa stuff: AKG, Senn, A-T, Ultrasone. Don't know what their return policy is. And, to save you some time, the Magnolia Audio-Videos don't have anything on demo, except the one in Santa Clara (sennheiser). I asked them yesterday

Maybe time for a mini-meet y'all, drink beer cept you underaged ones, shoot the breeze.

I've seen this one also, but wondering if there's new stores open the last 8 months.

Thanks, anyway.

I should give Guitar Center a try.

I don't think I'd go to a mini-meet since I have no special headphone to bring; I'm gonna feel uncomfortable just trying everybody's cans.

But mini-meet certainly sounds fun.

That's still current as far as I know, although there is now a Music Lover's on Bush street (near Fillmore maybe?) but I do not recall seeing headphones on my one visit there.
