NE-7M's stock doesn't really stay in my ear well enough. In comparison, Sony Hybird has better, stronger fit which means I get better isolation and bass response. If you can put the stock tip in your ears, you can do it with the Sony as well, just better.

I use the old MylarOne stock eartips on my NE-7M. It is good enough that I don't think bi-flanges will improve much (beside, bi-flanges kind of stick out more). My Sony Hybrid stays on my Sony MDR-EX700.

I really like the Sony hybrids with the NE-7Ms. So much so that I just purchased some off of Amazon. They fit so well in my left ear that I have to fight air pressure build up. The only negative thing I can say about them is that you have to pay about $12 for four different sizes of tips. Unless you have friends or family that use different sizes, two or three of the four sizes will be useless to you.

As was mentioned, the inside diameter of the female tip section that fits over the earbud is slightly smaller than the stock tips so it takes a little effort to get them on.

well with tips the only way to find out whats best for you is to buy them and try them on. just becasue i found the ones in my sig to work wonders for me and others have too it doesnt mean that everyone will. other love the sonys hybrids on things while i find them fine i only use them on my pair of sonys. i just never found them to offer me anything special.

however unless your my long lost identical twin and we have identical ear canals the only way to find out what works for you is to try them all for yourself

I traded for the size I like (light green) for some of the ones I don't use with other head-fi members. I keep the reds (SS) for my daughter, and trade the green and orange, which I never use. Might try posting in the FS forum, or even in some IEM Threads.
