Came home from work at lunchtime time today because otherwise I thought I would be stranded at work.I nearly didn't make it, many floods to drive through.

In this locale (North Bucks) we’ve had nearly 3 inches of rain today.

On the other side of the pond in Colorado, USA we have had almost no rain in the last month and the temps have been in the upper 90s to low 100s. Global warming....

Last month was the wettest June on record. So far, this month is shaping up to be pretty wet too

Did anyone see the footage of the police van attempting to drive straight through a flood only to stop a few metres in followed by two disgruntled coppers getting out and start pushing the van? lol (it was on Mock the Week, filler until the new series of Have I Got News For You starts

).
