hi guys,

if I use dac with usb , my sound card is outside of circle of sound processing or I need sound card for output digital signal to dac/amp?

i have problem with my onboard sound card and I want to buy device for my headphone and give me good quality sound (for music and movies)

one of the my friend suggested to buy dac/amp instead of sound card , but I don't know what to do.

another question is better choice for stereo headphone internal sound card or external.

can I use this sound card instead of dac and amp ? and exact quality like fiio e10k give me?

sorry for bad English .

thanks

It might be helpful to know what headphones you currently own or are planning on buying.

Three good values (under $100) for computer audio.
Creative Sound Blaster Z sound card.
FiiO E10K, USB-DAC/amp.
Schiit Fulla, USB-DAC/amp.

If watching Blu-ray movies, on the PC, a software program like Cyberlinks PowerDVD Ultra ($40-$50).
Will do all the headphone surround sound processing, so you can use an external USB-DAC/amp, to drive headphones and still get headphone surround sound.
