when did you start trusting your instincts?

i've been listening to music a lot lately... usually unamped. so today i put the cmoy in, and it seems like i can now tell a bigger difference.... but im not sure if it's just my head.

when did you guys begin to trust your instincts?

I trust my ears and what they tell me... How much of it is psycho acoustics and how much of it is physical acoustics.... WHO CARES. If my brain / ears perceive a difference thats good enough for me. Why waste time fussing over a moot point.

most of the time.. lol.. but then maybe I will go back to unamped and then amoed to confirm it.
