Howdy- regretfully I sold my Senn Hd-25-1's a while back and now I want to get back into portable audio. what closed lightweight portable cans are considered among the best? AKG K81 DJ's and the Senn HD-25's 1's and the 2's ..? are there other closed lightweight cans available I should investigate?
I'll be using a RWA Imod-ed ipod and Xin micro amp. I also once owned the AKG 81 DJ's but they did seem a little boomy for my tastes but that was a while back. But $190 on Amazon for the HD-25-1's is a tough price for me. are there other choices. I need closed can's while mowing grass and weed eating. I'll use Senn PX-100's for walking and lounging on the beach.

Many thanks,
Robert

With those components get a pair of Ultrasone Edition 9s and the case that that comes in will hold your Imod and micro fine and you will have something of a very high end portable setup.

ATH-ES7s and RP-15MCs are my favorites.
