Just wondering what kinds of source media Head-Fiers spend most of their time using their headphones for.

Posted this here since it could conceivably go in at least three different equipment category forums.

I personally would have voted only FLAC a few weeks ago, but I just finished deleting my computer music collection and switching over to a mostly redbook CD system. Feels nice to go back to spinning discs which I can listen to far away from my computer.

I listen to CD at home. MP3 at work. I voted optical disc because that is what I prefer to listen to. I suppose I spend more time listening at work that I do at home though.

I mostly listen to Lossy MP3 at 320 kb/s VBR, high quality. Sounds good enough out of my soundcard, it's not worth it to rip to lossless for me, my source and headphones arn't really good enough for the extra space it would take up.

Lossy MP3s (192kbps). I can't tell the difference between these and lossless or on cd, even with good equipment. Convenience + low disk space makes this my choice.
