Okay,

We've discussed root beers.

I happen to ALSO be a pickle aficionado. What's your favorite brand/type of pickle?

I'll go first:

1. Claussen Dill
2. Bubbie's Kosher Dills (available at Whole Foods)
3. The restuarant "The Cracker Barrel" USED to sell some homemade-style sweet pickles that tasted like they really WERE homemade. They were wonderful. Unfortanately, I haven't been able to find them in the last couple of years.

I'm usually not a big pickle gan, however, the best that i've ever had was undoubtly a half and half pickle from caringee deli (ingore my terrible spelling). Crispy, and with a delicious hint of flavor, but far from overwhelming

Homemade dill pickles. We grow the dill and cucumbers in our garden.

If you ever go to japan try the pickles that are served to close the meal instead of a sweet.

I forget the name of the place but there was a good store in the Lower East Side in New York City that sold some really good home made pickles.

New York got me into pickles since it’s a part of the culture from the old era. I even attended a pickle festival in New York some years ago.

If you live near a Russian neighborhood or have a decent Russian population, you may find some good pickles since Russians love pickles.

I’ve been eating this pickle product called Oh Snap and I gotta say they are delicious!

I’ve seen them in various supermarkets and convenient stores (USA). It’s basically sliced pickles in a small bag found in refrigerated sections of the stores. They are shockingly good. Highly recommend.
