Ok, so I turn it on and it runs fine for a few minutes, then cuts out. If I turn it off for a few minutes and then back on it'll work for a few minutes again. I'd say it seems like a heat issue, but there aren't really any heat-dissipating components in the MINT, are there?

When you say MINT, what are you referring to? One of Tangent's MINT amplifiers (MINT). or a generic amp in a mint tin (CMoy, ???). Is this something that you built and are trying to get working, or something you bought and quit working?

And yes there are things that could be heat related, even on something like this (whatever it is...) Pics would be helpful also.

this might sound obvious and stupid, but check your batteries.

Two for the battery check. It fools me every time. The sound goes grungy, tem amp shuts off. "I did nothing!!!" Oh...wait.......
