Dogs are so much .. cuter, cooler, etc.. than any of the other options..

I dunno.. if I had a dog to put in my avatar, I would... but unfortunately, pets are against the tenant agreement here..

Yes dogs are much cooler that the other options. I used my dog for an avatar for a few days. Then I went with Bill Haley now I have one of my offices as an avatar.

vwap, you don't have to have your own dog. You could borrow a dog picture.

I could have posted a hippo, but my ex-wife has been sick and I thought it would be in poor taste to put her picture here.

Dogs are man's best friend, unlike cats, babies, baby seals and so on.

At present, we are showing the 1991 Casa del Old Pa Power Napping Team (we had inlaws over, so I was sacked out on the downstairs couch with the J-dog sleeping on top of me until SWMBO snuck in to shoot the picture). So for point of clarity, that is one purebread field stock brittany (on top) and one already old mutt (already on bottom) . . . .

Why dogs ? Simple, man's best friend. Also, they don't complain when you spend too much time on head-fi or too much money on headphones and gear ... unlike your other half. Woof !

Try looking at CaptBubba's avatar and not melting like an iceblock in hell.

Plus dogs rule. Cats are arrogant and evil, and only "love" you when they are hungry. I've got scars to prove that one.

Lol, unfortunatly I get this look whenever I go home, and fall for it every time. Forget being away from parents, I miss the dogs!

While I love looking at other dogs ... it just isn't the same thing to post a picture of someone else's dog... granted, CaptBubba's dog is really cute, but posting that of someone elses dog?.. *sigh*..

I need to go get a dog.

Now.

Or something.

I'll make it pee and poop in my toilet even... If Jim Carrey can do it, so can I!

Do you mean that Jim Carrey was at your house?
Or, do you mean that if he can be taught to use the toilet, that any dog should be able to learn also?

I understand why you don't want a borrowed dog.

Here's a cat avatar for some variety

He is a nice mannered orange tabby and him and his brother are both indoor-only, so they are very clean (no fleas or anything). Now if they'd stop getting hair all over everything...
