I am currently using
Source: 5th Gen iPod Nano
Inter.: Custom LoD
Amp: iBasso T4
Phones: Either PFE 112 or Superfi 5 (v2)

I want to improve the sound that I get from my setup but I don't know where to start, any suggestions? I was thinking of saving up and getting some IE8s for hip hop and stuff but I'm not sure.

I listen to hardcore/rap/hip hop mostly

Yea I was thinking of picking up some TP 10s while they are cheap, not sure how they will do compared to the PFEs.

But what's wrong with rap/hip hop/hardcore?
I also listen to Acoustic, Classical, Epic and many others if it helps

ok, you are forgiven. It's just that those other genres mentioned often do not allow for critical listening sessions. I know that "reference" quality recordings do not surface from them.

I think a big step up in IEMs would be the ticket. I'm happy with PFE,ER4,etc. I'm easy to please.

Haha good one ben. But yea I would have to say that most of the recordings that I have sound really good on my current setup although I would have to agree and state that my acoustic songs run all over them in terms of SQ

But yea thanks for the suggestions; I decided to get some Triple Fi 10s
