What's the difference between MDR-7509 & MDR-7509HD???

I recently bought one of each with the Live Search 30% eBay discount and can't tell if there any differences. Is the 'HD' just a designation SONY added for their flagship Studo Monitor? Or, was an actual change made? Any thoughts/comments welcome.

HD uses the newer driver which has extended freq response. I believe much higher powe handling also, but that's not important if your hearing is important to you
