I bought a Krispy Kreme doughnut with my Visa CC in Vegas. My wife was totally embarassed.... I have to admit I partially did it to embarass her, in front of some of her friends.

I just charged a couple of automotive light bulbs for under $2 yesterday, only because I had no cash, and had to have those bulbs right then and there.

Of course, I love charging one measley can of soup or onion or the like at the local supermarket out here in the sticks, only because I hate the owner and most of the dumb pricks that work there, but often times you just need something and can't drive 30 miles to a better store.

One US postage stamp. $.39 You can't use cash in the automated machines. Do I win?

Nope. Wrigley's Doubelmint gum, at $0.32.

I tried to buy a nut or something at the car parts store for something like $0.10. They said to just not bother though.

Friend of mine charged a penny onto his barclaycard once when I was there. Like cantsleep he had some vouchers, and there were combination money-off offers, and it came to a penny.

Funniest bit was that the checkout girl dozily said "that's..." and then started pressing buttons and staring at the shopping before finishing with an amazed "a penny... please"

€0.70 for a stamp for my absentee ballot. The envelope was postage paid in the US only, cheap bastards.

Although this is debit card and not credit card. You never need to carry cash with you around here anyway.
