I can't wait to get my SM3 V2 I just bought today, that was the IEM I've wanted more than any other in the past 6 months so I'm stoked.  I've read Jokers review of them probably 10 times and they seem like my perfect pair with the mid forward warm sound and large soundstage, its going to be cool to see how the BA200 compares as they've been described as having the same kind of sound signature but just not quite as good.

From everything I've read the answer is no. Someone else may want to chime in though.

Well you can get them new from Musica Acustics for $399 but I bought a lightly used pair here.

You might want to check the for sale forum, I think there's still a pair for sale around $275.

If you want an IEM with the same sound signature but is much cheaper checkout the TDK BA200, I love mine but I've always wanted a pair of SM3's.  Or even the SM2 which I've heard is about 90-95 % of the SM3.

I wouldn't call the SM3's soundstage "large," it doesn't sound as spaced-out as the UM3x, but more like a well-rounded TF10 that is better at portraying intimacy, and does so more readily, especially with vocals.

Large for an IEM, yeah I suppose. But don't expect can-sized sound. The imaging is fantastic, though.

As in personal preference, going by which gives me the most fun out of music - ignoring technicalities:

Great: UE900 > W4 > FA-3E > 4.Ai
Good: UE4 (demo) > PFE 232 > TF10
OK: JH5 (demo) > SE535
Meh: PFE 121

I have not compared all of them at the same time (but most of them in two sets). I've owned or tested all of these for at least one week.
