Looking to open up the soundstage a little without the need of a bank loan, I have read good things about the goldring dr150, also the audio technica ath-ad700 falls within budget, My current set up is the creek obh-11 and grado sr60,

You might post your budget.
Cause "without the need of a bank loan" don't tell us much. Since some need a bank loan to buy a $100 headphone, while others can buy multiple HE90's cash.

Well, he did say the DR150 and AD700 fall within his budget, so we can assume that his budget is around $150.

I'd recommend a used HD580/HD600 for more soundstage at this price.

The Goldrings are $130 the last I've seen. AD700 is around $100 w/o shipping.

From the posts I've read, the Goldrings have a somewhat boxy, compact soundstage. The AD700 will provide more soundstage.

Keep in mind though that the Goldrings was said to be aggressive, fun phones. The AD700 is detailed, refined best suited for classical/ambient due to their good soundstaging. Would still make great all around cans, IMO.

Granted, if the OP doesn't already have an amp that choice could get quite expensive indeed!

I haven't heard the other headphones on your list, but I have the AD700 and I think it'd fit your purposes quite well. It delivers soundstage in heaps, and IMO would make a nice complement to the Grados as well as a semi-all-round set of cans.
