Hi everyone - I'd love some thoughts/advice/recommendations. Here's my profile:
  • I pretty much use IEMs exclusively. I own a few high-end IEMs that benefit greatly from an excellent source chain.
  • I've got some portable gear (see my signature) but I do spend a good amount of time at my desk.
  • My budget is around $2500.
  • I love a detailed, organic sound that feels natural and rich. Not too analytical. A hint of warmth but not too much.
  • Tubes are too limiting I think. I do enjoy them but I'd like a bit more flexibility.
I've had my eye on the Dethonray Listening M1 because I do love their portable gear and it's sleek and simple. As for others, I don't know a whole lot. Again, I don't need a ton of power. Mostly IEMs.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I've had a chance to own most of what's on the market for the business. The best IEM amp DAC combo I've ever heard is the Topping l30 II with a Topping E50 on optical. The E30 II lite should do very well also and looks nicer in a stack. The L30 II is the most quiet amplifier out there and with 10 ohm IEMs I got goosebumps listening to Amy Lee from Evanescence like High or low or Missing. Optical USB with a B adapter works great also if you don't have optical out on the computer.
