Right now I am currently looking at the SENNHEISER 150 and the TRITTON TRI-UA501.

I have been reading these forums for a little while now and people seem to be saying to go with regular headphones and buy a mic separately, I need something thats not going to take up much space, so i figured it would be easier to get a headset.

But I am also looking for something with good positioning (for games like counter-strike), and good sound quality. Price doesnt matter too much for me, but if I could get something that was really good under $200 it would be nice.

Also, if I were to get headphones instead of a headset does anyone know a good clip-on mic I could buy? something like that would be nice.

Hmm do you just play at your house or goto lan parties. I ask this because if you need a closed (doesnt let sound in or out) heeadphone or a open one that does. For something closed i might look into the dt770-80 or just the good old reliable senn hd280. Now for open i would suggest the hd 555/595 which i loove to play css with as i cant even feel them and the sound is amazing with my audigy because they have a low impedeince. You could also look into the sony sa1000 which is supposed to be really good but i dont know to much about it besides its really really comfy and can be a little to bright.

I might go to a lan party once every two years or so

So it would be for around the house.

here is the HD595 which you really cant go wrong with. The only question i have is what is your soundcard, it might be better to get a new soundcard and this headphones little brother the HD555 which is still a great phone in itself and might be better if you only care about games and not about music.
