The band will do some good rock-hiphop fusion. The rhythm section (percussion, bass), lead vocals, and creative focus is provided by my younger son. Keyboards, guitar, strings, and creative genius come from my older son. Wife is the guest female vocalist.
A song sampling:
"I'm Not Desperate"
"I'll Date You Next Year"
"Next Time... (Do It The Last Time)"
"Whoa! Epic Failure"
"I Mo Dettit"
"I'm Asian-American (and You're Not)"
Whoa, something got really messed up. But what I meant to say is, why wouldn't you want to take part in naming your band? If going with the flow is your thing, that's really not the best mindset for creating music
I am in no danger of ever needing a band name, considering I am 100 percent devoid of musical ability.
But as an entertainment journalist, I would caution anyone who IS naming a band to never, ever use an expletive or other unprintable word. Newspapers tend to have strict standards about what they will and won't print (probably because our readership tends toward the old and crotchety), and editors freak out over that sort of stuff ... so music writers just tend to avoid covering those bands.
