I'd have mentioned something about American news broadcasts never having anything from outside the USA mentioned. "World News Tonight" for example is the worst named television programme broadcast.

Although I should also say that this thread is asking for trouble. On most of the internet it'd already be half filled with American flaming.

I guess I'd have said that 1/5 sounds just about right, and that you can't legislate intelligence into those individuals who just don't have the mental capacity to learn.
