I have a similar question....
What would sound the best:
A) Marantz CD63SE - Audio Alchemy Digital Transmission Interface 2.0 - Audio Alchemy Digital Decoding Engine 3.0 (current setup - also have AA PS2 and powered digital cable)
B) Marantz CD63SE - smART DI/O DAC modded by Boulder
C) Marantz CD63SE - Insert sub-$500 DAC here (explain)
D) Sony 222ES (non modded for now)
