I use MMD3. I know it's a little resource intensive, but I really don't mind the 3.5 seconds it takes to load. I routinely play CS 1.6 and use WinAmp in Winshade mode simultaneously without any problems.

Anyways, what do you all use?

I've been using MMD3 for years. Hopefully there will be a MMD4.

Winamp Classic (in doublesize mode) here. Maybe not the hottest-looking ever (I prefer no-nonsense looks anyway), but good ergonomics (contrast etc.), which I need. Creating a good-looking skin is one thing, getting the ergonomics right is another. Suggestions for other (classic, i.e. Winamp 2) skins that meet both criteria are appreciated.

Edit: Found some.

Good contrast (in no particular order):
Equalize version 1
Windows Classic
City Night (if you're into b/w thinking

- now that's a bit overdoing it even for me)
Simply Clean WinME
BeAmp

Neat-o (inpo):
Digiblue v1
TRiO CS1570 RSTD (love rusty old technical devices? this is your skin)
KENWOOD ALLORA III (not too bad a hi-fi amp lookalike)
MultipassIC - Carbon
Blackened amp
Enigma
forums winamp com (hey, and where's a Head-Fi skin?

)
Golden Wire

Edit^2: Found a few more, and ended up with WinSkin v2. Not the prettiest main window, but that and the playlist are "rolled up" near the top of the screen anyway, and it looks plenty nice enough that way.

After I switched from the base skin, I noticed a tremendous decrease in imaging quality, so I switched back. LOL.

It would be cool is someone made a Foobar skin for Winamp...or vice versa.

There is no better eye-candy than Clear One. This skin rocks. BUT is heavy on the resources.

EDIT: Oops, I meant this one. But the other one rocks as well, dunnit?

Woah! Thanks for the tip on ClearONE, slinger. Fantastic looking skin. Here is my revitalised Winamp, complete with colour-coordinated album playing.

I've always liked Winamp Classified, it's basically just the default Winamp 5 skin but in classic mode. Mind you, I haven't used Winamp for a while now; it's foobar2000 for me.
