Inquiring minds want to know. Was it worth it?

I'm a wimp here; I don't think I've ever paid more than $40 for a ticket. And that was for perfect seats for chamber music by big stars so it was well worth it.

I've been tempted by these:

$125 for the tour of the Berlin Philharmonic a couple of years ago
$120 for Nascar at California Speedway

Pink Floyd at Wembley Arena, England: $150. Worth every penny.

$120 Paid to the City of Malibu for doing 80MPH in a 60MPH zone.

~$100 Cdn for Metallica's Summer Sanitarium concert last year. Not entirely worth it since Hammet's guitar kept dying, but I had to see them live before they quit.

I paid $85 to see Bruce Springsteen on his last tour (actually did it twice) and it was worth every penny. I have to really want to see someone to go over $50 for a ticket.

Definitely worth it.

75 a piece for **** seats to roger waters in 99, worth every red cent. never would look back on that deal.....

my dad paid 1000 dollars a ticket to take the family for the eagles, jackson browne and linda ronstadt for new years 2000.

i don't think i've ever broken 200 a ticket but i've been close a few times.

worth it? to me, they've all been worth it.

I paid $250 for going 79 in a 50 mph zone when I first got my (old and used, but still...) Mercedes. I was kind of lucky actually, because I had been going 85 just a few moments earlier. If you get clocked going 30 mph over the speed limit in Cayman, you lose your liscence for 6 months. No exceptions. There is basically only one road, and they like to keep it safe. That was a lot of money, but still, it was worth it.

Ya, Ok, I'll play. I paid a lot to see Springsteen once, but can no longer remember how much. It was just a lot more than I thought it should be, probably $80 or $90 back in the early 80's.

$275 for healing the divide last year. i had to pay the special "donation" price because i missed out on the normal $50 tix. however, getting to see tom waits live was priceless.

I personally managed to sneak into The Who (with warm up band The Clash) at Shea Stadium. I was actually caught twice by New York's finest, but I was so desperate to get in (drove all the way from Pennslyvannia, even though it was sold out) I made my plea and they both let me go. Talk about an act of God...

£120 for third row seats to see Pink Floyd at Earls court in 1994, well worth it! The following night it was 20 or so rows back and those tickets were only £30 and the show was even better being further from the stage

I didn't pay for them but I had box seats to a Kings (hockey) playoff game (game 6 vs. the Avalanche) at Staples Center... Open bar, open buffet, open dessert cart with chocolate shot glasses and your choice of baileys, kalua or grand monier... It was VERY cool...
