I have a setup PC->DAC (modi3)->HeadphoneAmp(Lyr3)->Headphones
And getting audible electric noise / pc intereference coming out of my DAC that connected to my PC via USB.
I tried to power Modi3 separatly from a separate plug in adititon to exising USB to PC connection
(my Modi has 2 USB inputs, one is for power) and that helped a bit, so I would assume I have ground loop issue)
Its especially bad when im using any DAC that has no separate power i.e. SMSL SU-1 (that what I was trying to upgrade to)

So I bought 6 plug AC Noise Power Filter
Here is the questoin:
1. Shold I plug PC into that and my audio equipment into seprate outet?
2. Should I plug audio equipment into Power Filter and OC into separate outlet?
3. Or both PC and equipment should go to power filter?

Ideally if you have an extension cord that reaches an outlet on a different circuit breaker, putting audio on that will really help narrow it down. Also making sure all the screws on your power supply are in, since they ground the PC to your power supply.

Unfortunately outlet with different circuit breaker is not an option.
Screws are all in, my PSU is Super Flower Leadex VII 1300W

Plug both the PC and audio equipment into the power filter (Option 3). If noise persists, try Option 2 (audio gear in power filter, PC in a separate outlet). Also, consider a USB ground isolator.

please clarify what you actually bought, 6 pieces?

imo with "so many" i would just experiment and put one on PC, one/two on your stereo etc

generally you want to plug those plugin filters right at the start of the circuit (so in your wall before it goes to power distribution) as the filtering essentially blocks this way in/out
just be careful as noise will potentially search another way, so its also advisable to filter your usb or use isolator, which is probably the main issue for your noise problem, an isolator should fix it

Which isolator would you suggest?

@Ghoostknight the AC filter is looking like this, its chineese got it to just test if it changes anyting

Ah, good i asked, i recently bought a similar unit for my PC :)

if you dont have have other AC noise counter measures beside this i would use it to plug in your hifi system, so there is a barrier between your hifi system ("clean side") and your dirty remaining devices on the circuit

further down the line you can try to isolate other devices from the rest of the circuit

also the rabbit hole goes deep, a dedicated line doesnt get recommended so often for no reason and thats even what serious studios do
you can to isolate noise of other devices (specially switching power supplies) but the best really is to not have that noise in the first place on your hifi line

i can also recommend these: https://greenwavefilters.com/ .... got 2 around half a year ago and it was a worthwhile investment to place in the remaining room where devices plug into the wall

lan isolators will isolate your remaining network
and finally usb to quieten the connection to the pc

i would probably buy this one: https://jdslabs.com/product/synapse/ but it really depends on your setup and what connections you need
i cant recommend the topping HS01, it sounds quite bad compared to other filters/isolators

there is also this fairly new cheap-ish one: https://neutronhifi.com/devices/isolator/v1
i just dont understand why the hell they used micro usb

An AC filter is extremely unlikely to fix this, as the noise is almost certainly coming over the USB connection, not over the power input.
You can test this by connecting the modi 3 via optical (or just disconnecting the USB to see if the noise remains)

A JDS synapse is currently $49 and is one of the cleanest USB sources I've measured so I'd look at getting that

Get a galvanic isolation box (e.g. intona USB) in between Modi and PC. Or get another DAC with built-in galvanic isolation on the USB side (I would lean to another DAC with that feature personally)

Which DAC would you recommend (on a cheaper side please 150-250 USD)?
there are probably non with galvanic isolation on USB in that price range... you have to look at 500+ euro dacs

Your setup is prone to ground loop problem, thus you hear interference from PC. PC is AC-powered, DAC is AC-powered, and Amp is AC-powered. So you get ground-loop via AC path and ground potential of PC and DAC will unlikely match.

If you disconnect PC from the DAC while listening to headphones and notice that overall noise floor lowered (no ticks, buzzing, white noise less noticeable) then you can fix your setup with USB isolator between PC and USB DAC. It is the easiest way-out and the only solution available unless: PC has isolated power supply, DAC has isolated power supply or isolated USB port (must be stated explicitly by the producer of USB DAC), or DAC gets data via optical connection (TOSLINK).
