Hi, everyone. a friend of mine gave to me a ipod nano as a present. As a musician myself I always us cd player and don't know much about the ipod, and is anyone be able to tell me what the ipod sound like? I have a pair of senn580.

Do you have the Nano with you now? You can listen to it and find it out on your own. More reliable than reading others' opinion. I don't know how well you will receive it though with an unamped HD-580.

iTunes is what most people use. You can also use Foobar (with the use of a plug-in -the name of which I unfortunately can't recall-) to manage your iPod on the computer.

Edit: The plug-in is Foopod. I don't know if this plug-in exists for the latest Foobar version though as I use the older Foobar with the compatible Foopod version.

IMHO headphone out is much improved from the 4G. but line out is where it is at. No complaints here on that....
