I've recently purchased a set of HD650s and a La Figaro 332c to solidify my home head-fi experience. Thus far, I'm quite happy with my purchases. Currently, I'm using an iPhone with a SendStation mini USB LOD to drive my 332c. The results aren't half bad other than having to use my iPhone as a source when I have a MacBook Pro sitting right next to it. I could just use a mini plug to RCA to go from the MBP to the amp, but I have to boost the signal on both the MBP and amp quite considerably to attain nice listening levels. I'd like to eventually get a smaller DAC being that my desk real estate is quite small and the wife doesn't want to see any large component taking up what ever space is left. What are your recommendations for a decent DAC to pair with my 332c? Thus far I've considered the Pico DAC, the Nuforce uDAC, and the iBasso D10. Other additions are welcome.

Thnx,
Mullet

Yeah, that might help.

Thanks for the suggestion thus far. The size is just right and by the looks of the impression thread it seems like it would do the trick. I'm curious about the posts where Henmyr stated he didn't think it paired well with the HD650 and it would fare well with Grados. Shahrose seemed to like it with his 650s. It all boils down to how much this is going to cost and how I'll get one built for myself. I'm no expert in reading schematics and the minutia of soldering.

Hopefully a mod picks this up and moves the thread over for me.

If you don't want to build it yourself, send MisterX a PM. He'll build you one probably.

Yup. Just put 2 + 2 together and found his email info via Google right before you replied. Thnx for the tip though.
