Hi
Ive just built a home theater in my room and i need to get a good soundcard for my HTPC. I will mostley be using headphones with it but it must be able to output 7.1 surround My budget is around £70 ($122).

Cheers

Audiotrak's Prodigy 7.1LT looks like a good bet, these seem to have rather good availability in the UK.

You might check out this thing

nvnews seams to like it. I was thinking about picking it up for the dolby digital output.
if you wanna run analog outputs then you have the option to upgrade the opp amps. http://www.atruereview.com/bluegears/amps.gif
I thought that was neat.
If your hooking up digitaly it will encode everything to dolby digital. I had an old nforce 2 board that did this and i really miss that. I hate looking over at the reciever and seeing "pro-logic". Pisses me off everytime.
